Understanding Cloud Mobility for Dell PowerMax
Unisphere uses PowerMax Cloud Mobility functionality to enable you to move snapshots off the storage system and on to the cloud. The snapshots can also be restored back to the original storage system.
NOTE: The Cloud Mobility feature is deprecated and requires an approved Request for Product Qualification (RPQ). Contact your Sales team for more information.

Cloud Mobility is available only on Embedded Management instances of Unisphere for PowerMax.
The Unisphere UI supports the following operations:
- Set up, resolve, and remove a cloud system.
- Configure and view cloud-related network configuration (interfaces, teams, routes, and DNS servers).
- Configure and view cloud providers.
- View active cloud jobs.
- Configure and view scheduled snapshots of a storage group using the snapshot policy functionality.
- View and manage snapshots of a storage group that are archived or are being archived to the cloud.
- Create a snapshot for a storage group and archive this snapshot to a selected cloud provider.
- View cloud snapshots for a selected storage group.
- View and delete array cloud snapshots.
- Back up a cloud configuration
- Restore a cloud snapshot to the same storage array from which it was taken.
- Restore a cloud snapshot to a different storage array.
- Manage the cloud system certificates.
- Set bandwidth limits
- View cloud alerts.
- View cloud statistics.
